Mention on BBC Save Our Sounds

Further to my previous post regarding the BBC World Service's Save Our Sounds project, I was recently flattered to be contacted by a member of BBC staff asking if they could have permission to use one of my photographs on their Sound Diary page.

A couple of days later I visited the page in question and saw that not only had they used one of my photos, but they had included a link to this blog and included my Ueno Park Bells of Time recording on their Sound Scavengers page!

I guess it's not a big deal - but like I said, I'm quite flattered, and excited to be mentioned.

Well done on getting a mention on 'Save Our Sounds'. For what it's worth, you also get a mention on the Links page on London Sound Survey at http://www.soundsurvey.org.uk. Have a look and a listen, hope you enjoy it.

On the contrary! I'm always excited to be linked to - and especially when it's from site I've not seen before.

I'm very impressed by what I've seen, although I'll have a more thorough look when I'm home from work.

May I reciprocate the gesture and link to your site also? I don't get much traffic really, but I still like the idea of linking to sites of like-minded sound enthusiasts.

Kind regards,
Ollie

Save our sounds, I like the idea that make this program come up. May be we think it is like going back to the past, when there was only radio in all over the world, but there's nothing wrong to do the things like we did in the past, although I know that the internet-era had come up extensively in a few years ago. But, it hasn't still reached yet all people in the world as radio did. Save our Sounds is a brilliant program.
