I encountered the following video on the blog of Sunn O))) member Stephen O'Malley. I'm enthusiastic but not very knowledgeable when it comes to Indian classical music, I find the drones and textures compelling. Anyway, this video caught my attention this morning and I thought I'd share it.
I'd be very interested in knowing whether or not visitors to this blog would find posts on sound art / music to be a valid inclusion amongst the field recording updates. Please let me know what you think!

Hi Ollie, although these posts seem to be really worth watching and listening they move the whole idea of BD to some other place. My answer is no. I'm sorry, I do hope it won't disappoint you. May be a link to some other blog would be fine? Vladimir.
Thanks for your honesty Vladimir - I wouldn't have asked had I not been prepared for negative responses ;-)
No Ollie, it's not negative at all ) Please don't get me wrong, I don't mind those bits, and what's more - I'd love to see a link to watch that kind of things. I've been following your blog for a couple years now and I appreciate the things you've done. No wonder that you wish to modify it in a way, and I guess I'll follow it anyway ) Vladimir.
I love it Ollie, it's like Les Dawson meets Ravvy Shanker.... Bring it on bro.
I didn't mean negative in a bad way Vladimir - I just meant that I was prepared for people to be of the opinion that it's not such a good idea - after all, my blog has a premise - why dilute it if unnecessary.
I'm delighted that you have been following the blog for so long - it makes it all worth while. Also, I consequently value your opinion.
Stu,
I also value your opinion... although I can't see the Les Dawson in that video myself!!
Perhaps I could find a way of incorporating a feed from my other blog - Two Ears - Lots of Noise in a way that would achieve the same thing?
